Tailored and planned activities in line with a group or individual’s goals, EAL uses the interaction between humans and horses to achieve learning objectives. Horses’ non-vocal communication and their innate ability as prey animals to read body language and other subtle cues encourage participants in EAL activities to consider their behavior and how it affects those around them. This is especially useful for self-esteem, self-awareness, and self-confidence EAL sessions. EAL is also useful for team-building and leadership, both for corporate or professional development or personal growth.
